  4. NOTE: This is not a permanent armor codes, this will be use for temporary as long the codes are on. If you save the game and whatever code you used to change the attire, it will revert to normal clothing that you have in your inventory. Even saving a game won’t keep them.

P.S. The old attire is the same one that Link wore after waking up in the Shrine of Resurrection in Breath of the Wild.

  6. NOTE: If you use the character codes, they will start with NO weapons and they will be level one with ONE heart. I recommend go to any low-level battle (Battle at Hyrule Field) where you can have 2 people in the battle. Use a strong character to complete the whole scenario and then after the battle, the spoils will give the characters their weapon(s) and their hearts will go to default after leveling up. This reminds me of Pokémon when you can use EXP ALL.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Also, their quests WON'T open until you get the characters legitimately. For example, I unlocked Urbosa right after the Battle of Hyrule and before going to Road to the Ancient Lab. Her quests won't open until I get her legitimately after doing "Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief" main quest and then all of her quests will show up. These code won't affect the gameplay... I hope...

*EDIT* The characters are still playable (I can use the Great Fairies after Battle of the Hyrule main quest and powered them up fine), just their quests won't appear on the map until you get them in the normal way through the game progress.

  8. @CJB for the item codes. The item codes was the first learning experience for me to make codes. I used his example to find the items codes first in v2 and then I updated to v3 of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. All works goes to him.

@TomSwitch for his apps (Edizon SE and Noexes).

@wiitendo84 for his guide for finding cheats on Edizon SE.

@ReclaimerShawn for his long YouTube videos on a tutorial to to create codes and other useful stuff.

and people who made Atmosphere's cheat.md where I learned about the cheat code formats.
Thanks for the codes!

Is it possible to remake the weapon EXP code from version 1.0.0 to version 1.2.0? From how it worked, you could highlight a weapon and the EXP it has stays and accumulate when you go highlight different weapons multiple times and eventually hit the weapon EXP cap of the weapon chosen to be upgraded.

To be honest with you, I'm stumped with that part. I compared the 1.0.1., 1.1.0 and 1.2.0 and I realized that the address bytes for (seals, levels, etc.) between 1.0.1 and 1.10. have shifted by 2 bytes. Address bytes from 1.1.0. and 1.2.0 remains the same. I found the weapon ID, weapon seals, weapon levels, and experiences for 1.2.0 and the biggest problem I have was finding the inventory pointer for each character's base address. I did find the character's base inventory (not the pointer) address though..

So, it is a pointer issue, then. I see. Hope you may find that elusive inventory pointer sooner or later.

I guess this will be tough or even impossible because the game uses Alias64 instead of Heap and this seems to be much harder to hack.

EDIT: I tried to search for the stroke count and Coins with simple base address searches and came up with nothing. How do you actually make codes for games with Alias64? Is this even possible yet?

EDIT 2: Okay, I found some addresses with EdiZon in the BASE now but only if I search the whole RAM. I could manipulate the stroke count and coins but only within one game session.
Thanks for the hint. Have no idea how to make pointer for these address that is outside of main and heap.

I tried to find the EXP codes but I realized someone who made the code wrote it in ASM format. I'm not good with that yet. However, I did find the address to change all your characters weapon seals. I'm going to make code to change a Tree Branch to have fully powered EXP up until I figure out how to use ASM code to make level experience codes.

So, it is a pointer issue, then. I see. Hope you may find that elusive inventory pointer sooner or later.

You're not going to believe this. I finally found them and how did I find them? Found them easily from Edizon's memory editor. I will make the codes later today!

Great game. Probably the best in the samurai warriors series.

You're not going to believe this. I finally found them and how did I find them? Found them easily from Edizon's memory editor. I will make the codes later today!

WoW ! That's great news!

Excellent!

Thanks for the hint. Have no idea how to make pointer for these address that is outside of main and heap.

No problem. Since I have no idea how to make pointer codes at all, I won't be a great help. What I find weird is that when you make a bookmark of these addresses,
Edizon shows HEAP+00000000. How did you search for the stats? Did you change the exp?

I only just learned that game uses memory outside of main and heap range :)
EdiZon SE was written when I believe all game memory is in either main or heap.

I need to hack noexes to include these mapped memory to find the code I published above. If you want it let me know. The released version won't work.

Thank you so so much Tom!!! You are amazing.

Sorry - Incredibly newbie question. Are you able to do this code for 1.1.0? If not, no worries at all!

Do you know how to setup the environment such that Jnoexes shows the ASM code in the Disassembler tabpage, I really need that.

Monster Hunter Rise 3.1 [JP/ASIA] (should work for US/EU with the correct TID and BID)
- tested on 12.0.1, AMS 0.19.2
- modify the bold parts to change amount (hexadecimal)
- in the "#1-100 Box Item x999" cheat, 1st bold number (64) is the number of loops, 2nd bold (3E7) is the amount

  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages
  • Veho @ Veho:
It does that when I edit a post.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It inserts a newline in a random spot.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
never had that i don't think
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
