    NOTE: If you use the character codes, they will start with NO weapons and they will be level one with ONE heart. I recommend go to any low-level battle (Battle at Hyrule Field) where you can have 2 people in the battle. Use a strong character to complete the whole scenario and then after the battle, the spoils will give the characters their weapon(s) and their hearts will go to default after leveling up. This reminds me of Pokémon when you can use EXP ALL.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Also, their quests WON'T open until you get the characters legitimately. For example, I unlocked Urbosa right after the Battle of Hyrule and before going to Road to the Ancient Lab. Her quests won't open until I get her legitimately after doing "Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief" main quest and then all of her quests will show up. These code won't affect the gameplay... I hope...

    *EDIT* The characters are still playable (I can use the Great Fairies after Battle of the Hyrule main quest and powered them up fine), just their quests won't appear on the map until you get them in the normal way through the game progress.

Great work on these codes but I have to ask: Before when I used the unlock characters code before the character was meant to be unlocked, their weapon would be invisible and couldn't be changed, those this still happen?

    NOTE: If you use the character codes, they will start with NO weapons and they will be level one with ONE heart. I recommend go to any low-level battle (Battle at Hyrule Field) where you can have 2 people in the battle. Use a strong character to complete the whole scenario and then after the battle, the spoils will give the characters their weapon(s) and their hearts will go to default after leveling up. This reminds me of Pokémon when you can use EXP ALL.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Also, their quests WON'T open until you get the characters legitimately. For example, I unlocked Urbosa right after the Battle of Hyrule and before going to Road to the Ancient Lab. Her quests won't open until I get her legitimately after doing "Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief" main quest and then all of her quests will show up. These code won't affect the gameplay... I hope...

    *EDIT* The characters are still playable (I can use the Great Fairies after Battle of the Hyrule main quest and powered them up fine), just their quests won't appear on the map until you get them in the normal way through the game progress.

Yes, their weapon are supposed to be invisible. I tried to see if I can add their first tier default weapon when you unlock them but, for some weird reasons, it does not show up in their inventory. I also tried to edit it in NOEXS memory editor and it crashed my Switch. So, I would do my method to get them :/

  6. NOTE: If you use the character codes, they will start with NO weapons and they will be level one with ONE heart. I recommend go to any low-level battle (Battle at Hyrule Field) where you can have 2 people in the battle. Use a strong character to complete the whole scenario and then after the battle, the spoils will give the characters their weapon(s) and their hearts will go to default after leveling up. This reminds me of Pokémon when you can use EXP ALL.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Also, their quests WON'T open until you get the characters legitimately. For example, I unlocked Urbosa right after the Battle of Hyrule and before going to Road to the Ancient Lab. Her quests won't open until I get her legitimately after doing "Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief" main quest and then all of her quests will show up. These code won't affect the gameplay... I hope...

    *EDIT* The characters are still playable (I can use the Great Fairies after Battle of the Hyrule main quest and powered them up fine), just their quests won't appear on the map until you get them in the normal way through the game progress.

I wonder if it is possible to create a code to change Link's weapon before a battle. CJB used to have one for game version 1.0.1 and Link's Equipped Weapon Slot Address was 487E5E54 (and the example weapon was the soup ladle with code 02). Now it should be 4A35CDD4 I think, but I cannot make it work by just replacing this address. Any ideas what else needs to be changed?

  6. NOTE: If you use the character codes, they will start with NO weapons and they will be level one with ONE heart. I recommend go to any low-level battle (Battle at Hyrule Field) where you can have 2 people in the battle. Use a strong character to complete the whole scenario and then after the battle, the spoils will give the characters their weapon(s) and their hearts will go to default after leveling up. This reminds me of Pokémon when you can use EXP ALL.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Also, their quests WON'T open until you get the characters legitimately. For example, I unlocked Urbosa right after the Battle of Hyrule and before going to Road to the Ancient Lab. Her quests won't open until I get her legitimately after doing "Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief" main quest and then all of her quests will show up. These code won't affect the gameplay... I hope...

    *EDIT* The characters are still playable (I can use the Great Fairies after Battle of the Hyrule main quest and powered them up fine), just their quests won't appear on the map until you get them in the normal way through the game progress.

How exactly do I make the "Have any items" work? I turned each one on and the quantity of all my items are still the same. Also, the max power and max defense doesn't work for me. The only codes that were working for me that i tried was the "In Battle" codes. I'm on FW 11.0.1 and AMS 0.18.1 if that makes a difference.

To be honest with you, I'm stumped with that part. I compared the 1.0.1., 1.1.0 and 1.2.0 and I realized that the address bytes for (seals, levels, etc.) between 1.0.1 and 1.10. have shifted by 2 bytes. Address bytes from 1.1.0. and 1.2.0 remains the same. I found the weapon ID, weapon seals, weapon levels, and experiences for 1.2.0 and the biggest problem I have was finding the inventory pointer for each character's base address. I did find the character's base inventory (not the pointer) address though.

So I checked my Switch and my FW is still on 10.1.0 and my Atmosphere is 19.3, I am not sure if that can make a difference. I checked my codes again in my game and they worked fine. Not sure why yours not working.

There is a code that you can add/or change any seals for your weapon but that works for AOC 1.1.0. I'm trying to work on that, I have everything that I needed to make the codes but I needed to find a pointer code to make them work.

Nvm, got it to work using the Edizon Overlay with Tesla. Was using the Edizon homebrew app before. Thanks for your hard work!

You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
