Hacking Cheat code doesn't work. ((Pokemon platinum))

I've always hated gen 4 for it's Terrible slow paced battles, i've found a working cheat that makes the HP bar not even animated (just goes right to the amount of HP left)

But i have this one text speed code that doesnt seem to work, it'd make the game easy to play (time wise)

Nothing is wrong with this cheat code at all, you need to press R+Select to make the text faster (don't expect the text speed to be bizarre fast, I already tested this cheat, it only utilizes the options max settings). My databases show what buttons you need to press in the cheat code description. To access this you simply hit "Y" on a cheat you currently have highlighted if you are using Wood R4, kernels like YSmenu and the CycloDS kernel automatically show cheat descritpions. Sounds to me you are using the older 2012 or 2014 database for your flashcart. I recommend you upgrade to my maintained databases found here:
