Im about to fly overseas to Florida and obviously i want to bring my 3DS with me, now Australia power outlets are 240V while USA are 110 V and the range on my adapter is only 230-240V so even with a converter It won't work. if i was to buy a US adapter would it work with my 3DS

US adaptors should work. But to save all the hassle why not get a third party solution with multi voltage? (100 - 240V, 50/60 Hz)

Oh, but plug types matter as well (but it shouldn't be too much of a problem)

Just to remind you. 3DS' are region locked, so DON'T BUY ANY GAMES. THEY WON'T WORK.

Also, a 3rd party solution is your best bet.

Only DSi-enhanced (excluding Pokémon) and 3DS games will be region-locked.
So if EnigmaXtreme was to buy regular DS games over there, they should work.
