Hacking Change Harddrive CFW

Hey,
is it possible to change the Harddrive to a bigger one without loosing the CFW?
What do i need to do, to get the CFW on the new Harddrive?
I would like to order a big one - whats the biggest HDD you can get in a PS3? 2TB?
Can anyone recommend a Harddrive with a lot of Space?

It's pretty easy to upgrade a CFW PS3. You just need the hacked firmware you are currently on set up with the correct folders and file names on a USB stick and when you put the new HDD in it will ask you to do an update.

1TB is the most stable size that works on a PS3 or so I have heard and used myself.
