Catastrophic Screw Up

I tried something with Linux, it kinda messed up my installs, so I deleted the virtual drive, then remounted an old version from 2 days ago. The system didn't like it, so I'm wiping my system to restore an image. The pc is encrypted, so I need to wipe the hdd first. All night computer problem (on my phone).

I’d suggest switch to VMs for experiments, snapshots make things allot easier.

I've been wiping the hdd clean, which is difficult since it's encrypted. It's been stuck at 58% for about 14 hours. What should I do? Wait?

I think I'm back in business. I reflashed a disk image moments ago. the issue with linux was docker, so I just had to disable it, then reenable it, it would seem.
