I put this game on my r4 the day it came out but it kept freezing randomly
I was just wondering if R4 still has this problem?
Thanks alot

I agree with xlinkinpakx, you'll need to look @ compatibility.

On the flip side, I've used KingMax/SanDisk cards and always found the game to be hit or miss.

I also use to own the retail copy of this game and it was notoriously buggy. It wasn't uncommon for it to hang during gameplay.

it works but it depends on your microsd. the portal warps will freeze randomnly if you have kingston microsd 2gig Japan made. just make sure to save alot and you'll be good to go.

There is a patch that will fix the problem. I´m using the patch with my SanDisk 2GB and R4 and the game runs perfect without freezing. Some of the sound is missing but it´s still playable.

What is this patch?

I had forgotten the link but I found it again but the link wasn´t working so I´ll upload the patch for you later.

Yeah it depends on your micro sd. I own 2gb sandisk, freezes on portal and takling to Wind. But i was able to play it till the end, just save frequently.

I have the same problem as you

I remember competiting my friend to see who got to the end of the stage faster, but i went to a portal to teleport to a different portal, but it froze

portals SOMETIMES work, but mostly it freezes when it opens

Best to just bring the original game with you; or buy a 1GB Kingston Japan or other card that definitley works with it. Some 2GB's do work though...easiest way to test if your card wil crash is just pause and unpause and switch areas between Wind and the Friar/Priest guy constantly for about a minute. If your card will crash, it will do it there (and by constantly I mean tap start 4 time per second while moving back and forth).

It played fine on my 1GB, but on my now broken-in-half Lexar 2GB it would freeze doing that every time so I didn't even chance it (it froze on me once after a boss so I decided to read up and test it...sucked for me).

So now all I keep is my 1GB in it, and bring Castlevania PoR cart with me too. Kinda sucks but it frees up 55 meg for another game I guess
