Hacking Cart save to CIA install?

I know this is possible, but last I checked (which was a while ago) it only worked on games that didn't use the 6.x key. Is that still the case or are recent games supported now?

Look for savedatafiler from that site, and install the CIA. Then highlight the top item with the cart in the left most colomn, then press y, then shift it over to the third colomn and with the save back up you just created, hold r and a to copy it to sd . done.
