The series may soon be branching out in the handheld space even further, as Capcom Europe COO David Reeves implied Monster Hunter would make its way to the PS Vita and 3DS in an interview with the Middle East-focused MEGamers.

"I think down the road, you could probably see a Monster Hunter iteration somewhere. Probably on both of them," [/p]

I'd love a MH game for the 3DS

misleading title >.>
he didn't really imply anything either. just said he 'thinks' there 'could' 'eventually' be a title on the next-gen handhelds. but why would he say otherwise?

The big issue with a MH 3DS is that it has been mainly focused on ad-hoc multiplayer. Unless Capcom changes that with the iteration of the game (and they've had plenty of opportunities to do it for the PSP versions) or Nintendo changes the way it handles it's handheld/console connection, it's doomed on the 3DS outside of Japan. Sony has at the very least set up a backbone with Ad-hoc Party.

Really don't care, played only one Monster Hunter title on the PSP, even though I enjoyed it for a day, it's not that kinda game on which I'd go "WOW!!" if it were to be announced on the latest handheld 3DS.

Hence I said 'hints'! What's so misleading, did I say confirm or anything?

And that's bad? Monster Hunter is a portable game.

Two of 'em? Madness!

And so it starts... the battle for the best handheld version of MH this generation. Knowing the impact MH had on PSP in Japan, it might be vital to the success of either handheld.

Go 3DS, go!

I'm not pissing on your thread heartgold but the Monster Hunter I bought for my PSP was terrible. So boring.

It's bad at least in the U.S and various other countries. Seriously, how many people are getting spotpasses in the U.S. on a regular basis. It works in Japan because of the huge population density.

They should call it "UrbanPass". Because only works at urban zones.

Would of been better if they announced MHP3rd for America/Europe.
He hints more of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd being put on Vita if you read the whole interview in the link. But the Op doesn't quote it.

QUOTE"There will be one launch title for Vita," Reeves told the site. "I am not actually sure if it's been mentioned, so I am not going to, but there will be a launch title for the platform. And then we will do Street Fighter x Tekken, and at least two others. I am sure you can guess what one of them has to be, considering the success in Japan."

If that doesn't spell "Monster Hunter", I don't know what does.

You're mixing the terms here. You're talking about Street pass and I don't see how that can make a MH game any damage.

Getting street pass hits doesn't by any means affect the online experience on the 3DS, given that Steet Pass and Spot Pass are two ways of connection separated of each other

On Vita, It's expected (for me at least) as MH has always been a majority PS Portables enterprise.

For 3DS, that's a liitle surprising!

Can't wait to hear on news for both versions.

Yeah... Wasn't this expected? Monster Hunter is basically the one game that would make the Vita an instant hit. Same goes with the 3DS, I guess.

I always hated the MH series, but it seems like everyone loves them. Oh well.

i gotta say fuck captain falcon, because he's hot (no homo), marry samus, because she seems like good wife (or as BigOnYa says, wifey) material, and kill wario, because he can't die, so killing him won't really kill him

My state has put a heavy tax on vape juice, taxing any juice with nicotine by the weight/oz. So to get around the bs, my local vape store only sells 0 nicotine vape juices, then they also sell straight nicotine in tiny bottles, and you mix it yourself to your 0% juice, lol
