I purchased a wii 2 hdmi converter off of amazon and I couldn't get it to output any video to the TV. I tried multiple hdmi cords and ports but still nothing. So I messaged the seller and asked if they could send me another, and they did. It came and again I tried multiple cords, ports, and I even tried another TV but still nothing. I left the wii on while I was looking on my phone for a solution and when the system went into powersave mode all of a sudden audio and video were output. Excited, I reconnected the wiimote to play something and it went back to a silent black screen. Is it a problem with the TVs I've been using? Am I doing something wrong? Please help me

What model of Wii do you have? Not every one is compatible, unfortunately.
Does your screen support 1080p? I've got an old 720p monitor that the Wii2HDMI refuses to use. Try another screen if you can.

It does support 1080p and its model number RVL-001

Do you have bootmii as boot2 installed? You could trying changing the bootmii.ini file to what from what I've read: "VIDEO=PROGRESSIVE"

No, but I can't switch it 480p when using Av cables because the option is grayed out and I can't switch it while using the converter because the screen is blank.
I can't get wii2hdmi adapters to work even the Autoulet ( supposed to be one of the best? ). The only one that works is av to hdmi converter " MINI " but because it's Av I can't change wii to hd/ tv it's greyed out?
