Hacking Can't get R4i gold plus 3ds issues

Hy guys. I'm new here trying to troubleshoot some issues. I just got my R4i gold plus 3DS and managed to install custom firmware on my old 3DS. None of the tutorials online mention that I have to upload any firmware to the micro SD card that is inserted in to the R4i. But I couldn't find any firmware that would work with the micro SD card. All I keep getting is a black screen then a white screen flashes then goes back to black.

You can get the Wood V1.64 kernel from the official website. Just copy it to the SD and you can play DS games. But it's not required for ntrboot.

Did you switch the cart back to "D" by opening the case? If it's set on "N" it will only work for NTRboot hack.

He wouldn't be able to boot the card if it was in NTR Boot mode.

Download the latest wood V1.64 from the r4ids.cn
Unzip it to the root directory of your tf card
