Cant connect 3ds to my pc

I can't connect my pc to my new nintendo 3ds xl using microsd manager. I tried to use the smb1 protocol too but nothing to do. What do you recommend ???

You could install FTPD and use any FTP client to access your 3DS file system. The windows explorer also supports FTP if you don't want to install any software but in my experience it has it's flaws.

I think it only works with older windows, I couldn't get it to run either. ftpd works but very slow for me.

Interesting. I'm currently using Windows 10 and I'm able to use the explorer as an FTP client.

There are many different FTP clients you can use. FileZilla works for me

What exactly do you mean by this? Also, what version of Windows are you running?

In any case, people have reported success using microSD Management with muCommander, which works independently of Windows.

Hey, look through this thread to how to set up FTPD. You can do with Filezilla on pc, just put the 3ds' ip address, and the port as 5000, and click connect.
