Hacking Can't backup save data or games to SD using Gateway (Error)

I get:

>>ERROR! PRESS [A] TO EXIT
>>FFFFFFFF

Whenever I try to dump anything. My SD card IS big enough to hold the rom, and it's a card1 game (NSMB2)



Help?

EDIT:

I should also add in that my gateway cart is legitimate, and not a 'fake' one. Also, the diagnostic test labels everything as "OK!"

I haven't the foggiest, sorry. I haven't heard of this issue before. It really doesn't say anything more than that?
Maybe it's worth contacting the Gateway team about this?

That's alright! Yeah I got it working again. It was really weird though! Like, I had to take the cart out, and put it back in again... and do that a few times... I had to do that same thing when it didn't detect the gateway. Weird! I appreciate the help though!
