Cannot change final boss music in Bowser's Inside Story

So, I made an .sseq with a loop that seemed to work perfectly on vgmtrans and decent in Nitro Studio, but when the game tries to trigger it, it just freezes. Does the game have some kind of safety mechanism, is the loop wrong or something? If it isn't a rule breaker, I could post the custom sseq only.
