It needs signature patches for it to work... I just said...
Ok... Sorry for adding to your comment... The fact that it fails at 100% wasn't in your post. And how do you know that it's the signature patches that aren't allowing the install to complete. Boot yes, but install? Now ... Somewhere else.

Dam. That sucks. The OP will have to wait for SX to be cracked, or hekate to add support.
and by op, I dont mean your fake op tag :/
They actually disabled layeredfs on the free version? lmao
I never tried using layeredfs or anything before activating mine. That's kinda shitty, but I digress
-- short answer: No
-- long answer: No, currently CFW does not have sigchecks disabled. You are not able to install nsp titles with the standard CFW. The "free" version of SX OS has the sigchecks enabled so you need to pay for it to get that feature :\
Seriously though, I can't wait for standard CFW to have this feature, I'm not a TX fan by any stretch. Locking down freely available layeredfs is pretty funny imo

is it possible to load hekate with the atmosphere support files to use dev menu to install nsp files?
if not, will it be possible soon?

Use Hekate dev menu to install nsp? No it fails
Use Hekate and play via LayeredFS? Yes

I can confirm with 3 eShop games ive tried, Hollow Knight, Poly Bridge & Enter the Gungeon
Tried it on SDFiles V5 + Hekate 3.1
  • Download .nsp file and get its unique title key
  • Use hactool to perform the following:
    • hactool -t pfs0 -k keys.txt game.nsp --pfs0dir=extract
  • Find the biggest NCA in the 'extract' folder and then;
    • hactool -k keys.txt --titlekey=CopyPasteKeyHere --exefsdir=exefs --romfsdir=romfs biggest.nca
  • Use your prefered way of patching .npdm file in the exefs folder
  • Transfer to SD card and launch 'Older LayeredFS' firmware option

i want to try this right now using sonic forces. after you transfer the sd card in your last step, how do you launch the game? i guess my question is, at what point in your tutorial above do we identify and use a donor title.
