Hacking Can you share SD2Vita with PS TV and Vita?

I have a hacked Vita and VitaTV. Both have my PSN account. So I just leverage the cloud saves if I want to play the same game on both.

Yep, that's the method I use too... but I guess if you can't spare another sd card it's handy that it can be transfered between systems.

@godreborn - I thought cloudsaves came as standard on Vita and PS3, and was only a paid feature when PS4 rolled round... but I've always had a paid PSN account so I don't know for sure.

but wouldn't you need psn plus? I'm pretty sure playstation doesn't offer free cloud saving, unlike xbox.

Yeah it does. Small price to pay to make an elegant solution IMO.

You just need to have sd2vita plugin setup on both system, but won't really recommend it unless you have multiple sd2vita card as they break easily upon insert/eject and also it always refreshes the database, so say goodbye to organizing your game bubbles.

Maybe a good solution is Vita save manager + NAS.

you can retain your sorting and folders by backing up the app.db. it's in ur0/shell/db/app.db. just reinject it.

I might want to point out--don't use the same app.db from the vita to the pstv or vice versa. they're different. I've tried this before, and it will rebuild the database if you do.

I don't know of such a homebrew. not too difficult really. once you reinject the app.db, restart, and it should work.

btw, this works with the ps4 as well. and, if you ever format, and it gets a new user id, find the user id in decimal form (i.e. savedata.db or all the folders with the same alphanumeric, convert that to decimal, and replace all instances of the previous table numbers with the new one with HxD. worked perfectly for me, so I didn't have to resort anything. the app.db on there is in system_data/priv/mms/app.db . the addcont.db, in the same folder, doesn't need this modification.
