Hacking Can we run homebrew applications on the gamepad screen?

Now we can enter vwii mode on the gamepad only right? So if i open a homebrew application like that can I play N64 or something on my gamepad screen using a gamecube controller or something?

It depends. The only way you can use the gamepad is an exact mirror of the TV, it's basically just another screen. We have no control over what inputs it has or anything. If you can display it on the TV, it'll show on the gamepad.

I'm thinking some apps like Nintendont (and maybe another emulator) can get the Wii U Gamepad in the future, but I can't see the future, however it's probably Nintendont can get the Wii U Gamepad support.
