What is black friday? Is that an American thing?


True, it can still work on new year's as well.

Black friday is a day where tons of stuff is marked down on price possibly the most a year. I forgot what Black Friday means or if it means anything in relation to Thanksgiving

What is black friday? Is that an American thing

Is basically the equalivlant to Steam flash sales, or Playstation store flash sales or even Amazon flash sales but imagine that all across the united states in stores everywhere!

%50 - %80 discount on many products from clothes, gadgets, electronic devices, games, and more... except food. Is followed up by Cyber monday which is when all online stores have pretty much the same kind of sale, but each one last only 24 hours.

After thanksgiving dinner, people are lined up and camping out at stores just to get first dibs on everything from new cellphones to tablets, computers and 4K HD Smart tv. WAY MORE intense than christmas shopping.

Actually, most people know Jesus wasn't born on Christmas but they celebrate Christmas anyway.

We know there probably was a guy called Jesus, he probably wasn't both on the 25th of December and it probably wasn't 1AD.
With what we know about science/evolution/etc now, we likely wouldn't believe the story of Christianity if it started today.

Huge groups of people will believe things that aren't true, but justify their belief because of the large group who also believes it.
