isn't there a way to chance the ticket numbers, and make a generator for them... there is some kind of possibility... because there also are keygens for games on the pc and so on...

the redownload rights are stored on the server, just like your wii points, because if you format your nand, and remove your shop account, you lose your redownload rights

?
You just contradicted yourself.
If the redownload right is stored on the server, why I deleted the ticket but cannot re-download the wiiware?
Are you saying that both the server and my wii (via ticket) must have the information in order for the wiiware to be redownloadable?

He didn't contradict himself. The redownload rights are stored on the server, yes. But if you format your nand and remove your shop account, you lose your only link to the redownload rights, therefore you can't use it.

Is the "link to redownload rights" is the ticket?

That seems to be what he's saying.

Also, I remember that a long time ago people always said not to go to the shop channel if you have fakesigned stuff or you could get banned from the shop. Is there any basis to that or is it one of those perpetual rumors like automatic system updates?

Well...
I remember way back then when 1.0 of Wad Manager was out, it usually errored after installing the ticket, and for few days you could download the game from the servers. Later on, they fixed it and it would error when downloading the game.

Now it doesn't even show you "have" it. So yeah. The new shop channel knows if you're a pirate.

This raises another issue.
Can we install the ticket to the Wii and the channel to SD?

I doubt that's true.
I have some fakesigned stuff installed and I've been to the shop channel numerous times.

Im sure theres a way just to install tickets since HBC lets you run the programs to install the VC wads. BUT no one is going to release a program like that since there main goal is homebrew and not being pirates. It will take someone thats as smart as the team, but also someone who doesnt care about being sued if it ever comes back to them. Me, Ive got mixed views on the whole thing....wii games are overall a good price....back in the day, I remember having to pay 90 dollars for a phantasy star game, and now the wii games are usually 30 to 50. BUT the downloadable games are way to expensive.....they are just remakes of old games, most with no special redesign using the capabilities of motion sensing controls. Yet they want 10 to 15 dollars of wii points just to download a 10 year old game, which I can play on my computer for free. At least rock band two songs have come down to just a dollar for some.... I guess at 2.50 a game might be more reasonable. Then again.....why would I want to play some old game with crappy graphics when I have all these new games. ???
