hi everyone right can i ask a question right

i saw this on pshax site just now i need to know does this dump ps4 games to external hard drive through this cos really i dont know what this does but i have seen a some videos of this dumping something but i don't know what it is or what it does i don't know if it is a game or something that is getting dumped
also RetroGamer74 says at the bottom of this site that he is currently working on a Gameboy emulator for this and could this boot like retro games like sega and snes and maybe ps1 and ps2
cos if this takes emulators then surely you would be able to play other games

Its sand boxed. As stated in the comments....

It wont access anything useful until its given "unjail" permissions by a payload. All this is, is a filemanager/filebrowser proof of concept. Afaik it's unity demo ported to PS4 with PS4 specific funtions added(I could be wrong)

Let me answer this for you specifically too: If you put a 5.05 game in you would indeed be able to grab contents (once its unjailed, it definitely cannot even look there yet) but it will still be useless encrypted contents which arent usable without keys for decryption.

It doesnt "take" emulators.... porting isnt magic, it takes a lot of work, especially on (relatively) unmapped hardware.
