Hello! I'm the guy who has been doing the prints for the jig. Huge thanks to @Ronhero for referring me to you guys.

If anyone else needs a print, contact me through here. eBay takes a cut of the sale and I can charge less if we can do it without eBay as a medium.

Thanks! I will stick around for sure, been looking for a substitute from Assembler, it went downhill after the whole security fiasco.

I wonder if right joycons will now spike in price, while left joycons will be able to be had for next to nothing.. ;)

Ah - the wonders of a market economy.. ;)

Just one question, how to be sure that's it's wired as it should without linking the switch to a PC ?

I'VE DONEIT! A perfect paperclip!

Get a fat paperclip that slides into the console-side rzil, and fits somewhat firmly into the joycon connector port gap slot thing.

Bend this tend ever so slightly upwards so it has a bit of friction, but make sure you can still fit it in there. If you have to shove, you could break something.

It may not work, and paperclips aren't exactly precision instruments.

I never expected to get so excited over a piece of bent steel

If all goes well, pressing power while holding vol+ will result in a black screen with no backlight. If the nintendo logo appears, try again.

Of the paperclip? or the setup?

I got a picture of the paperclip before my camera died, I'll try to get a picture of the way I jammed it down the rail tommorow. Memory card reader is at school, along with a better camera. I'll post pictures then.

feel free to nag me if I forget

attach to pins 9 and ten on and off anytime you want

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Micro switch creates the short when on and no pass through when off and it's 97 cents less than a dollar when I install mine I'll post a pic .
