I had a DS-X and purchased an Acekard RPG. I already know about the shuny web converter however it's unsuitable for multiple files, and I have about one hundred saves to convert. So is there an offline batch converter up to the task?

Incidentally, I already tested to see if the save formats between the two were compatible but that would have been too easy.

Not to sound ungrateful for the responses, but did either of you _read_ a word of my post?

Use this Multi Save Converter uploaded on GBAtemp's downloads section.

You can convert multiple save files quick like all at once, so this should be what your looking for.

That won't work with DS-X saves (I should know, I wrote it). In fact, it doesn't do any sort of real converting, it just takes small save files and makes them bigger for carts that require save files of a certain size. IIRC, DS-X saves are gzip files with a header attached. You would have to remove the header and unzip the file before it can be used on a different flashcart.

Was the offline version of Shuny's converter ever released?

Yeah, it sounds like I'll be doing it by hand.

A different question: what do you do when a save won't convert across formats? I've got a Zelda: PH save from DS-X but after conversion it detects it as corrupted and deletes it. The same happened with Phoenix Wright, but I was between chapters anyway so I used a cheat code just to open them all since it makes no difference. I've got many hours of play time in Zelda though that I'd rather not redo.

Every time I've tried converting a Zelda save with Shuny's converter it blanked out the last half of the save (that was quite a while back though). Try using the RAW format [force 512kb] option as the target format. If that doesn't work, post your save and I'll try to convert it manually.

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
