Related question. Do you need to be on 10.3 (real or emunand) to play MH4U online? I want to buy the game, but I'm currently on 10.1.

no you dont, you will however need latest update to download updates from store if it i required to play online

MH4 has an 1.1 update available, either download it from eshop or find the update as .cia file as well

Thanks for the info! I already downloaded the 1.1 update on both my 3DS systems when Hans eShop access was working, so I should be good to go.

If I bought a game (even before I updated), and it's digital, does that work the same way, getting banned if you go online on the legit, digital game?

Cias are the digital versions of games so No ban if played online its only flashcards that have chance of ban
