Nintendo is far from drowning.
The Dreamcast was not the failure of SEGA, the Saturn was the blunder that SEGA couldnt recover from, no matter how successful the Dreamcast was, they already had one foot in the grave when they announced the Saturn at E3 and then saying it would appear on the shelves in a month.
nintendo has 3 comanys over the world for so far i know:
and nintendo europe so wich ine should fall of
lol yeah Nintendo doesn't really need to be saved XD
at least not yet.
Nintendo isn't going anywhere. People exaggerate the situation far too much. If they began having losses year after year (which they haven't yet), then that would be a problem.
Shit article, here is a quote from one that actually does research.
Nintendo aren't in need of saving, they're in a transitional phase at the moment and spending more on developing hardware and software. I'm not sure how well the Wii U will do considering we don't even know what the final hardware will do or when Sony & Microsoft are going to release their consoles (my guess is 2014 at the earliest and even then they don't even need to) but more 3rd party publishers are on board than the Wii was for its launch. I'm not so optimistic about the Wii U than the 3DS but I'll be stupid to count Nintendo out.
Two words that I don't see being next to each other for quite some time.
Nintendo Failing? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I'd better go tell Emperor Zul that Nintendo is clearly failing and going to die. He won't be pleased.
Mmm, what? With the money the earned with the DS and Wii I'm sure the company could live many more years. The article is nonsense.
Yes,let's take every word, action and event that Nintendo does out of context and/or over exaggerate them to make them look so bad that they look like
a dieing company while annoying all other companies issues.
Give them a break already.
6.68 million 3ds units sold in 5-6 months selling at a faster rate than the ds and Nintendo still believe that under expectations.
Just imagine holidays with big hitters.
Am I the only one who remembers the articles that said "XBox could kill Microsoft" or something along those lines? These malarkey articles come every time there is a new console or the numbers shift just barely lower than they were the year before... no one seems to note that the economy worldwide is still low and that frivolities are the first to suffer in these instances. Everyone needs to quit "ambulance chasing" and get on with their lives. The three titans will be around for several more decades till one of them folds shop or pulls a real bonehead move (XBox portable FTW!).
*sigh* Nintendo + Failing = DNE.
So, basically this?
Well, it is certainly not gonna go down like SEGA...(remember?), Sega mostly failed with the lack of a good sales engine..to my opinion that caused the downfall for SEGA as gameconsole developer/maker..
And as more people have stated, the big N has a reserve and is still in a investment and development stage..
Every week there is some new reason why Nintendo is "failing," and it's always a bunch of bullshit come up by somebody that obviously has no idea how business works.
This is hilarious. He has no idea what he's babbling about.
How many times is this same, tired, meme (it's pretty much become that), going to be repeated before it actually comes true? 2020? 2050? 2100?? Eventually, though, the 'experts' will be right! It may take an asteroid impact in Kyoto to make it true, but it'll happen! Just you watch! Any day now!
He has a cap with a round sticker on it. I've been listening for 3 minutes and pretty much all he's said is "shut the fuck up". What a douche, I hate him already.
EDIT: argh, why does the forum automatically turn a YouTube link into an embedded vid?
No, Nintendo can't be saved because it doesn't need saving in the first place.
Just watch, when the WiiU comes out, Ninty will be as strong as ever.
