Can multimann load PS1/PS2 games in .cso? Specifically speaking, if I used "PSP ISO Compress" to comress a non-PSP ISO file would it run? If so, how high should the compression rate be to avoid lag? If not, is there a PS2 or PS1 compression tool that I can use to decrease file sizes?

EDIT: Using "PSP ISO Compress" didn't work. It stopped responding and created an empty .cso file. So what program, if any, would work?
 
As far as I known, there's no way to compress PS1/PS2 ISO.
PS1 even have to maintains all informations (such as sub-channels) for some anti-piracy protection with emulators. I don't know if the PS3 is working with these protected ISO.

PS1 are not that big.
On PS2, to decrease the file size, it was often done by replacing movies with a dummy movie file and rebuilding the ISO. (or sometime re-compressing movies to fit a DVD9 to DVD5, like with Xenosaga)
