Hi,
I'm planning on buying this flashcard: http://www.r4depot.com/11-r4i-sdhc-dual-core-flashcart-for-2ds-3ds-xl-3ds-dsi-ds-lite.html

I have an SD card with CFW files in it. My old 3ds has rxtools emunand and sysnand. I read somewhere that you need a microSD card to load ds games and to place saves there.

Thing is, I don't have a microSD card, and I don't want to have to spend more money to get one. So I was wondering if i can use my SD card to load ds roms with the flashcard and place saves there instead. Just wanted to clarify.

you know that a micro sd card is much smaller than a SD card right?
you could use an adapter but it is unpractical, you would get a wire\platic thing sticking out of the thing, and it's not really worth it...
you can get a 8 gb or even 16gb micro sd card for 5 bucks or less
