Hacking Can i keep my save files

Hello,

I have a 3ds on 9.2 and i use Gateway.
Im thinking of installing a CFW.
If i do so will my save files stay intact?

If you are using .3DS roms, it's not as simple as just booting up JKSM and dumping the save. You can use the workaround mentioned by Quantumcat, or you can use this simple app that does the renaming work for you, courtesy of me and @ihaveamac: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e8j6aplhlbn7ceo/JKSV.rar?dl=0

I never made a thread for it since I never really finished it. also it's based on a modified lpp-3ds so I'd have to put the source up somewhere, though I forgot the changes I made to it... :/

Maybe you could make a thread for it as something unfinished that you'd like to get some help with? It looks useful enough that I bet plenty of people would be keen to see it operational so they would help.

I can definitely finish it; what I'm more concerned about is lpp-3ds, since it's GPLv3 I would need to make the modified source available and state major changes. I might be able to do something about that though.

I'll probably make a repo for it soon....
