Gaming Hacking Can i get banned for editing my name and then going online?

Sorry about this but i want to edit my ACNH character's name and i wanna know if ill get banned if i go online with the changed name.
Im following a guide that should supposedly allow me to edit save data without installing CFW by using nand backups.

He didn't get banned with ACNH but strangely enough in SmashBros.
But if you mess up and leave some CFW traces, you might get a console ban.

You're still hacking the console so the risk is not mitigated just because CFW isn't involved.

Just by having a hacked switch there is a ban risk. Just backup your map, make a new game, and reinject map when possible
