If you die stupid do you have to be stupid for all of eternity?

I need to know this now, as it will affect how much time I dedicate to learning over the next 60 years

I believe that we'll be probably reincarnated into an animal by the time we all die or just have simply nothing and get eaten by maggots. But we don't know this for sure as we won't be alive to confirm this.

That said I have three questions on this assuming that is not the case.

Neuroplasticity. Is it fixed at the time of death such that dying as a 24 year old (or child) might retain that over someone in their 50s?

Laziness. If a ghost in some ways might have infinite energy and possibly a fixed mental state then that does mean you don't have to do the same cycles as a human powered by inferior biology. Related to that might be experience of time.

Related to neuroplasticity might be some aspect of fluid intelligence vs crystallised and what limitations that might mean even if you do have infinite possibly compressible time to do things in. Would suck to be a ghost with Downs. Refutation vs support of the ghostly blank slate then being a psychology article I would read.

but where does that informations goes once processed? in your soul, what you are...
When you die, your soul leave your body, hence your brain too...

A spirit cannot learn, but it will still have the informations it used to have when it was alive
It's basicly an hard drive with no processor
