I heard that the newer Wii's are unable to read DVDs at all, is this the case with Black Wii's? My friend wants a black Wii, but only if he can mod it and play DVD games, not from a external HDD.

Anyone know?

One word, no
They can't read burned discs or dvd videos
In many words, if you want to spend money to buy the wii and then money to replace the dvd drive then yes......but otherwise no..

Black Wiis are just THE example for Wiis that can't read DVD-Rs. All white Wiis sold in 2010 can't read DVD-Rs either!

every one of the Ultra-orthodox community here in Israel learns in A Yeshiva from the age of 13 (approx.) until he gets married (mostly).

it's divided - There's A Yeshiva-ktana which is 3 "classes", ages 13-15 mostly. then, he goes to A Yeshiva-gdolaa which is from 16 and beyond.
  • Halbour @ Halbour:
We are an "open" (or "modern") ultra-orthodox family, and my mom sent me to A yeshiva-ktana.
  • Halbour @ Halbour:
Funny thing is, I'm almost 17 - making me the highest in my "class"
