Sure, but your argument is flawed in the scenario where we're talking about the MOBILE i3 chips. The Q6700 can probably easily beat an i3 ulv or even the normal MsIts 4 generations old now, it is ancient as far as computing goes, it was already a low end card to begin with so it did not age well past htpc use.
Even low end i3 dual cores destroy the Q6700, its almost a 10 year old cpu now and just cant compete with the ipc and better overall efficiency and core performance of the i3's.
