I finally got around to playing Wandering Star but after one in-game day it gives me this nonsense about incorrect firmware, blah blah, *reset*. I'm on 6.60 ME-1.2 right now, and I see that PRO-B8 added a code to bypass this check. Can I just install PRO over ME? Is there an alternative?
Edit: After googling around a bit it seems I can only run permanent PRO if I'm on 6.20. Fuck. I'll try to find some patches I guess
Edit 2: Scratch that, apparently you can install 6.60 PRO-B9 right over ME and it's permanent. It got me past the Imas check too
