Hacking Buying PS4 1tb COD Limited edition from official store - Could they have updated the firmware to 5.5

Hello everyone,
I found a good deal in Sony official stores here in Middle East (Called Sony world). It is the limited edition green Camouflage PS4 with COD WW2.
But, I am a little bit worried about it's firmware.
Considering they are the official store and distributer here in Middle East, could they change the firmware of a PS4 even if the bundle is old?

Like opening the box, update the firmware and then reseal it?

An employee could do that in any shop, I'm not sure why they would.

It takes too much time and effort to open, set up, update, repackage and seal...

In a word no.

They won’t do it, if it’s sealed it will be fine.

Have you verified the serial in the other thread?

I would imagine it’s safe as the game requires 5.00/5.05 iirc.

What tickled me is that the store's (the one I mentioned) salesmen went to normal shops and purchased their stock replacing it with a 5.50 updated consoles (cause PS4 jailbreak is common here) even fir the 500GB versions. It looked like a strategy to battle piracy.

It will be shipped from their online store. But they have returning policy if things gone bad.
