Wait, if the BS system wasnt implemented, wouldnt that mean nothing would show up if I loaded the rom? Coz the game shows up I just cant press anything

I thought I got BS Zelda running some time ago, but I can't remember the exact process I used to get it to work.
Have you tried disabling sound? That sometimes fixes it. Also mess with the Vblank and speedhacks.
