Hacking Bricked R4i3d (2012) possible to unbrick?

Hi everybody a friend has a Dsi with 1.4.3e and tried to update the flashcard R4i3d 2012 (i know its a shity card...) with the file for another card (R4i3d new) and he bricked the card.

The icon of the card still appears in the Dsi menu (Spongebob icon) but when i start it just shows black screens with the message "An error has occurred. Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off..."

I know that its possible with a Dsl and a working flashcard to apply the firmware to the card...the problem is that i cant find anywhere a firmware update for this card.
Does anyone know if there´s a firmware for this card?

Unless using the correct update or using a different memory card or DS altogether works then I do not think there is much you can do.. Best thing to do if to simply get another card from ShopTemp, they are quite cheap and make sure that your friend uses the correct update next time!
