I did a search and no full answers for my problem yet.

Okay so, I used Kosmos updater to update kosmos thinking no big deal. Now I cant install new NSPs. Says invalid firmware. Alright fair, so I updated to 7.0.1 using choidujorNX. Reboot to RCM no problem. Push hekate. Nintendo logo, black screen. Shit..

Start looking online: "WARNING! REMOVE MODULES FOLDER FIRST". Oops. I am an idiot.

My question basically is, can I fix this or do i need to restore my backup? Dont want to lose my save files ^_^.

Thanks!

I can boot into RCM and I tried removing the Fidler after the fact but no dice. I can wipe my SD but that's a pain haha. If I reinstall NSPs to my SD will I keep my saves?

Thanks all

sorry what I meant by clean your sd card was: clean your sdcard except for the Nintendo folder

no need to delete that one (inside of it you have all of your games, updates, etc). The saves are stored in your NAND, not your sdcard.

Awesome. This is the answer I was hoping for! So I can keep the Nintendo folder aand replace everything else? Thanks! I'll try that.

if that don't work try using fat32 in the case you are not using it.

Hey all. Sorry for the delay, busy week.

So I wiped my SD card back to fat32, put the latest Kosmos on and booted with Hekate 4.8. Goes to Nintendo logo and that's it.

I also put my Nintendo folder and sigpatches. Maybe I'll try without anything additional.

Okay, so apparently after installing 7.0 with choidujorNX it enabled autoRCM automatically? I just tried booting without my jig in my switch at all and it seems to have booted! Why would the jig stop it from booting .

Side note, none of the NSPs previously installed on my nand want to run. Probably sigpatches I guess

Yes autoRCM is enabled my default. If you updated to 7.0.0+ you need new sigpatches.

Hi, just to hijack this thread for a question. May I know if the new sigpatches are available right now? I did manage to use Goldleaf/Goldtree to install Mario Tennis and Snipperclips (Installed after patching FW 7.0.0) to but got the message "checking if the software can be played" and I was asked to turn on the internet for my switch. Am I right to say that it is normal to receive this error until new sigpatches are being uploaded?

edit: I tried using the latest sigpatches in the Kosmos package but it didn't seem to work either.

Use sigpatches from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-sigpatches-noob-paradise.532146/

Damn. So basically everything on my SD is toast. Have to reinstall. Some NSP install no problem. Others I get:

"Ïnvalid NCA Magic. (missing sig pathces?) (Firmware too low?)"

I have used the sig patches from the kosmos release site and linked above in this thread. At a loss at this point.
