Bought a DS light.

So i bought a * practicably* new DS light from a friend from school for 20 dollars. Now the guy at school is Dumb. I was thinking to go to Disc Replay (like gamestop but there not cheapstakes) and sell it for 40 bucks, and buys a PSP 1000 from there. So should I sell my DS lite and buy a flash cards (i don't like DS games cause the graphics aren't good) or buy a PSP 1000 and hack it so i could do awesome stuf?

It can play GBA games and NES games and SNES games and loads more! It can browse the net, unzip zip files, and be an ipod clone, and play movies, it's easy to create homebrew for and it could really help your programming. It's an amazing little device if you get the right homebrew on it

screw the PSP. And for 20 bucks, thats awsome! Definatly go with the DS, it's the best console you'll ever have!

I voted for the TROLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOL-thing, but I think you should keep your DS and buy a very expensive Flashcart. You can do a lot with it, and you could even create your own DS-games without that much experience (you, of course, still need some).
There also are a lot of DS games, and a lot fun. I just think keeping the DS has more fun and functions than the other 2.

the PSP can do all this, about 3-5x better.

if you don't like the DS because of the games, then there's no reason to keep the DS.
anything the DS can do, the PSP does better. primarily playing videos, using homebrew, emulating GBA, SNES, NES, GBC, old computer systems, you name it and the psp does it better.
playing games/viewing porn is just nicer on your 4.3" (480x272) screen instead of a 3" (256x192) ds screen.
also, if you're interested in playing videos on the DS, don't bother - you have to degrade the quality to extreme measures even if you use moonshell over DS2.

the DS doesn't simply have "better games." but the games that are decent releases are great.
the PSP's great selection of games are just bogged down by all the uninspired crap titles that come out for it.

so if you want emulation, homebrew, porn, music, etc.. go with PSP.
but if you don't like DS games simply for the graphics, i must say you're missing out on a lot, and i'd advise you to at least get a cheap flash cart (acekard) and give them a try

Lol, i have both, but would rather pour hours into my ds than play my psp. I prefer emulation on my ds, mainly because the buttons on the ds seem more comfortable to me for retro games, and even though the ga
GraPhics on the ds arent as good as a psps, i enjoy the vast amount of games on the ds that i can easily download in seconds.

Honestly I have both so I can't help you chose but maybe you should decide on either a PSP and then you can buy a DS Lite later or one of the newer Upgrades later or keep it then more later you can buy a PSP so you be able to have both.

The choice is yours really anyways the DS is really good even if it doesn't have Good Graphics (even though I think it has Good Graphics)

I didn't stop reading, but definitely stopped caring there. Honestly, how come that 'Pokémon is your world' and you don't like DS games because of the graphics? Also, the poll is full of fail and because of that I didn't vote.

If you already HAVE a DS and you're not interested in GBA games, get a PSP-100x or 200x, I'm leaning towards 200x but that's just my personal opinion.

I love my new PSP 2000 vader.

I love my old phat DS.

But I would honestly never trade one for another because I wouldn't want to lose all the great titles and abilities both have to offer.

Just pick whatever you really want more. You obviously don't want to keep the DS as you try (and fail) to put down flashcarts in your poll and say how you'd do "awesome stuff" with a hacked PSP.

Obviously you want a PSP 1000. Get it.
