If the BootMii files are missing the drive flashes like mad. Put the BootMii files on the SD in that case. If the files are there (drive does not flash and TV still shows "no signal" )

Open SD:/bootmii/bootmii.ini and change the video mode:

VIDEO = x

where x can be NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE

You certain the SD card is configured to boot "bootmii"? If configured to launch sneek for example, the hbc channel will launch that instead of bootmii despite what the button reads. And sneek can be tricky to get to load so would explain the blackscreen. I don't think it's a likely scenario but it's all that came to mind. Good luck

If that's the case you then you must've made a mistake here, but who cares fixed now, good stuff

I installed bootmii as an ios and when i boot it from hbc it shows "no signal"
I found the solution after endless tries you have to open bootmii ini which is in the folder of bootmii and change video VIDEO= PAL60 for european wii or ntsc for us wii and save and boot again and it will boot ok
