Hacking bootmii - do I need it?

I've soft modded my wii. Got HBC, DVDX, USB loader GX, and some VC/Wiiware going. Am I taking a big risk not installing bootmii? I don't want a shiny white brick.

You should install BootMii as boot2, if possible. For me there's no reason not to do it.

don't mess too much with wads and u should be fine

still, it never hurts to install bootmii

I would install bootmi as boot2 and backup your nand and put it in a safe place. I did as a peace of mine, just in case I blew up my wii.

I don't think it would be much use if you meant that literally haha

don't install .wad files and don't erase IOSes (officials) and you wont be needing BootMii..!!
