Hello everyone, I have the following problem. Since yesterday, when I start up my Wii U (Tiramisu Hack), I only get to the profile selection screen. As soon as I select a profile, my Wii U freezes on the next screen (I see a white screen with the controller symbols flying through the air and they still move), and I can't do anything except turn it off by holding the power button for four seconds. I've also tried the following things, but to no avail.

- Updated Tiramisu (backed up the folders beforehand)

- Autoboot turned off and manually booted into the Wii U menu, HomeBrewLauncher, and vWii, but always got a black screen

- Booted with Aroma

- Booted with and without the SD card

- Formatted the SD card (but backed it up beforehand and then restored the data)

- Wii U started without the HDD connected

Nothing has helped, and I'm at my wit's end. I hope someone can help me get it working again.

Thanks for the instructions. But now I have another problem. When I start ISFShax (using the aroma method), a pink screen appears briefly. This is followed by the Wii U menu screen, and then it gets stuck there. I hear the menu loading melody the whole time, but nothing happens. On the gamepad, I see the same screen, but there are a few black fragments in the lower quarter, like when I normally load Tiramisu.
The only way to start ISFShax now would be the UDPIH method. But I'll have to wait until Friday for that, because I'm not getting my Pi Pico2 until Thursday.

That could either be your fw_img loader being outdated (make sure to use the one from the ISFShax release) or the fw.img is corrupted or missing.

If you made sure both are correct, then try the v1.4 release of minute, in case the v1.5 from Saturday has a problem

Okay, I downloaded the entire ZIP file again from the website and extracted it to the SD card again, with the same result. Then I downloaded the three files from 1.4 minutes via Git Hub and moved them to the SD card, overwriting one of them. Now I have two more files in the root of the SD card (fw_fastboot.img and boot1.img) and I don't know what to do with them. But in the end I still get a pink screen and when loading the Wii U menu it stays in a continuous loop (I even waited 5 minutes to see if anything happened).
Here's a screenshot of my SD card. It's possible I copied something incorrectly.

Okay, the aroma method still didn't work. I tried it with my PicoPi2 and got in minute. I then installed it and dumped the sys crash log.
I have now packed the logs folder into a zip file and attached it here.

I see many errors with the ODD. You can disable the Disc drive in the SEEPROM SATA settings in the Backup and Restore Menu of minute and see if that makes a difference.

Okay, I did what you wrote. I set the selection to "no device" (the disc drive hadn't been working for a long time anyway). Unfortunately, that didn't help either, it still loops after selecting the profile. Now I just have one small problem. I accidentally selected the first option once in a minute (accidentally pressed the wrong key). I hope that wasn't a big deal.

Doesn't matter, it will just not work.

Can you display the MLC info in minute? It's in the backup and restore menu.

Also dump the logs again to see if a new log was written or if it crashes so bad, that it can't even write logs anymore

Don't you mean, you're at your Wii's end? Sorry for that awful joke, I'll see myself out.

Hi SDIO, sorry I haven't been in touch for a while, but we were on summer vacation, and my kids kept me completely busy.

So, I dumped the system crash log again and also took a screenshot of the MLC.

hm the logs didn't change. The eMMC is a Samsung so probably fine.

Did you already try creating a new user? You could also try setting up redNAND and see if that helps.

No, I haven't tried it yet. I'll test it tomorrow and find out how to install a redNAND.
