(Tetrids supposedly being the game so tough and brilliant, that it's own programmer could not beat it.)

I'm pretty good at tetris, so I was able to beat Tetrids.
But the immediate difficulty is a huge turn-off, the first task being so hard, people aren't going to want to play it.

Beating it won't be required in the real game, though. Not even the "proper" demo 1 release, afaik. But I see what you mean.
