I’m new here so forgive me if this has been covered, I did some searching and couldn’t figure it out.
Last week I had a friend who owns a very reputable repair shop install my HWFLY I purchased directly from their store on AliExpress.
When I got it back it booted from power off very very inconsistently. I’d say for every 10 or so boots it would actually get to hekate.
I took it back and my friend verified everything was done correctly. I have attached pictures just in case.
Since getting it back, I can’t get it to boot at all, the hwfly chip turns on breaths purple then flashes green and turns off. I get no image and the screen doesn’t even appear to be on but I can’t be sure of that.
For the record, im very knowledgeable with tech stuff and soldering. I used to work as a soldering tech so I have verified the job was done right to my knowledge. However I have never done an install on a switch like this so maybe I missed something?
I’m running 1.5.5 atmosphere and presumably the newest version of hekate.
Could someone please tell me what to do? Also pretty sure I messed up the micro usb so I may hardwire a usb cable to reload the firmware on the hwfly. But I’d like to check with the experts before I take it apart further.
Anyway if anyone knows why this is happening, I’d love some things to check or repair.
