Could people post some of their favourite Japanese DS games that have not received a US or EU release and don't rely too heavily on undertsanding Japanese?

Jump Ultimate Stars is Great! It does take a bit of "memorization" for the menu's and the system for arranging fighters is confusing at first, but there is a faq that you can use that will help A LOT to understand what's going on. Once you get it sorted out though it's a great game.

Ouendan, Bleach DS - like HaaTa said, it's easy to understand if you've ever watched the series and if not, it's just a fighting game

, any of the non-RPG Naruto games, Jump: Super/Ultimate Stars - it is easy after awhile, even more so with a translation guide, YuYu Hakusho DS is also pretty easy to understand, and like Bleach DS, if you've seen it, it's a lot easier.

I feel like I'm just repeating what everyone else said...

Bleach DS and Jump Ultimate Stars. Just needs a while to get used to it

Jump just took me a few minutes to get the hang of the menus. Plus I know a bit of Japanese so it somewhat helped me.

I second Mewgia's Pick of:

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan
Daigasso! Band Brothers
Jump Ultimate Stars

Oh and who can forget the pinnacle of gaming that is
Shaberu! DS Ryouri Navi

My apologies OrR, that's a fair point... I committed the original sin before posting... NOT SEARCHING!

I agree that maybe one should be stickied and the first post edited with a comprehensive list as has been done with other similar lists.

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.

Most people that haul big tvs have empty trucks or know enough not to set it face down
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Then I gotta send it back and wait another week or two. I have a pickup truck, with a extended cab, so no prob for me.

Most manufacturers pack it well enough where they aren't that dumb to let it happen
