Hacking Best Hardware to use with SD (NOT mini) and SCUMMV

I've been reading alot of reviews on hardware, on websites, and such, but I'd like some advice from hands on experience with multiple sites and devices. I'm basically looking for the cheapest SD (not mini/transflash or cf) based device that will run SCUMMV among all the other ROMs and such. Any advice?

ScummvmDS uses DLDI now so pretty much all major carts should work.

As for SD and if it must be that (decent mini/micro SD are dirt cheap nowadays) I would take a look at the M3 SD or supercard SD incarnations (purely due to the fact I like GBA games M3 would be my choice).

Naturally you will need a (no)pass(me) or a flashme modified DS.

i have an m3 simply (mini sd) and a passcard and regularly run scummvm games.

i have zero issues, it all works brilliantly.

DLDI helps solve the main issue of getting to work with virtually any cart (as you have heard many times already).

So why don't you want a slot-1 solution? impatient for GBA games to work?
