Hacking Best GBA emulator? [Solved.]

So I normally use the gpSP-J in the sticky, but want to try to find something with cheat support as not everything can be patched (and it runs Wario Land 4 worse).

I tried out UO gpSP kai 3.4 test 3 Build 92 and it seems great, except it has this nasty habit of locking up my PSP soon after booting certain 32MB games such as Kingdom Hearts and Mother 3... though sometimes Kingdom hearts doesn't lock up and I can actually play an entire section of the story with it, it locks up way more often than not, it's not really usable like this. :\

I'm on a PSP Slim using 6.20 PRO-B5. I tried with plugins disabled (the plugin options for VSH/GAME/POPS, not just individual plugins) and it still did it, I tried with the "hide CFW files" setting off and it still did it.

I needed both the Fake FAT and Boot: BIOS options to be on.

Thing about Kingdom Hearts is that if you load a blank state slot when it freezes at the intro, it'll progress.

Yeah I know about that, this was with a save file for me to load and such (and it sometimes froze on the title screen).
