Best firmware for latest atmosphere 1.7.1

I’m having trouble find information what the best firmware to run with the above im about to download latest CFW as above.
If anyone can give me or point me in direction of explanation of best FW for this version.

Atmosphere 1.7.1 supports the 18.1.0 firmware.
Since there are not many fundamental changes, you might as well use the latest firmware.

I’m running 17.1.0 I thought tinfoil and some other homebrew aren’t working on it?

Tinfoil is working just fine on the latest FW. Infact Tinfoil updated itself not too long ago to support easier game installation from your PC with the usb cable. The reason most ppl have issues of anything not working is b/c they forget to update the sys/sigpatches.

Ah the atmosphere said it was just basic support for 18 ?so I avoided it for now
Then I heard some homebrew not working
