Vote 4 FFTA2. Agree with all my predecessors talking 'bout the story not existing and the law system missing, but hell, screw that. Might not the worthy sequel to FFTA we hoped for, but it's enough. Actually, the one single thing that made me vote for it in the end was the job/skill system (always loved it).

Dunno what about Disgea DS Adaption, but AFAIK it's nothing different from the PS2/PSP one (which I kinda played excessively). And therefore, it has to be great. And whoever let slip that "too easy" hasn't ever played it properly.

Devil Survivor. A real challenge, lots of different ending/options, fusing demons, and a good story.
Although Griomore of the Rift is still really good - lots of customisation but not that hard.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift

Customization that actually shows up on your battle screen (ie different weapons). Plus the multitude of classes and abilities is unmatched.

Good but still nowhere near the epicness that was Final Fantasy Tactics.

Strategy RPGs tend to be terrible, though turn based are far worse.

The only one I can stomach, hell even enjoy is Civilization Revolution.

My fave was Front Mission. Robots, tactics, good story, and customization. lots of it.

even being a SNes remake, the new storyline and official translation gave it game a new life... if that one counts, i vote on it

Yeah you kinda level up in Front Mission but its ALMOST along the same lines as Advance Wars, which I believe created its own genre of games lol
