I'm looking to buy a cheap laptop, preferably an ultrabook used/refurbished with at least an i5 (or equivalent). So far one of the best all-round laptops I found was a Thinkpad X240, it has an i5-4300u, and I plan to upgrade it with 6/8GB RAM and an SSD. I'm looking to use it just for moderate browsing and playing games mostly from the last generation, and Dolphin emulation. I'm not interested in boosting graphics, just as long I have steady frame rates. Would a laptop like this suffice, or are there any better alternatives?

I use a Xiaomi Mi Book Pro 15" with an i5 8250u and a Nvidia MX150, got it for 800 usd. Battery lasts a day and I can definitely do some light gaming on it.
