Batman has had his terrible terrible experiences on the videgame world, but it's time for him to redeem his name, personally I'm falling deeply in love with the upcoming game.
It will feature a new "predatory" style of play, think Metal Gear Solid's gameplay with a lot of the Predator / Alien style of attacks. The story is completely original an will feature MOST of the Dark Crusader deadly enemies.
It is based on the Unreal 3 engine and some of the most know voice actors from the series are coming back, more importantly Mark Hamill as the Joker!
The license itself doesn't include any animated series or movies, this is purely based on the comics, but you can see in Batman's costume (gauntlets, boots and "armor") that a lot of ideas were taken from the movies. Particularly I don't like that Batman's eyes are not the iconic white eyes as the comic book, but I guess that would be unrealistic (and plainly cooler)
