Nintendo is in a very dangerous position but not for those reasons. They pissed off too many international fans outside Japan with the entire 2015, and these's people's support is critical for nx should it fail to appeal. Both Microsoft and Apple has overused Gimmick and it is time for Nintendo to go back to a more GC approach, but this time with a solid launch. Multi media is welcomed.

I think he was referring to "dumb vision" ... telling this of man that was ceo under wii and ds is quite unfair.
we all make mistakes.
Iwata made mistakes.
but there is no logic on calling his vision "dumb".
His vision actually modernized a company like nintendo... quite an achivement if you ask me...he won a mission that many told us it was impossible.

Yes, right now Nintendo's most important task is to give a reason for their fans to have faith in their product once more. All the wonder we had playing nes (mine is famicom) and up to ds and wii. Those that faded over the past four years.

Something going as old as possibly nes. Definitely in snes. F2P was a rather new concept unless you lived in China.

The next console WILL feature a handheld, sold seperately and not labeled as its own thing, (gameboy, advance, ds, 3ds). They will both feature the same name.
There is no basis, no 'source', no misinterpretation of a previous nintendo exec quote.

Its common knowledge that the 3ds "scene" has been popping for quite awhile (years) now and the 3ds and developers are losing money they dont want to lose. Therefor a new handheld with better security measure must come out to slow the "scene" down

I have pretty high hopes for Kimishima. I hope I'm not setting them too high, but I feel as though he could be a very good and much more forward-thinking CEO

Its funny because anyone can say well Call of Duty sells for $60, list other such games as The Order 1886, Until Dawn, well... the production quality, cinematics, cast, fee to use sports likeliness, justify the high price point.

Another thing i might/not have mention is the ability for the other consoles to record gameplay. NX probably wont be able to record gameplay, although they should because nintendo makes 30% off the videos ad revenue. Anothe problem along the same lines is having it on the handheld also. They should include a cheap option to stream via cable along the lines of $30 because theses business charge $250 to add a recording option for 3ds and its complete garbage. The video capture for 3ds games dont justify the quality of the actually game itself being played on the 3ds or in 3d...

Some old Nintendo IP (intellectal properties) dont need to be remade/remastered as games. Ill go back to metriod, Samus is popular but metroid as a series is done. Make it into a movie/tv series (doesnt have to be live action) and push samus into another story. Following along the lines of Ratchet and Clank, revamp the game into even better graphics and release a movie. Earthbound can follow along also.

Pokemon WILL Launch As A "NX" Launch Title

Im a douchebag. Yes i said Pokemon=PocketMonster Not ConsoleMonster. Then I go and say that Nintendo WILL release a console+handheld=Megazord of consoles

Using common baseless knowledge from my convoluted brain, the "footage" of Sun/Moon reveal lots of 3d art and a wireframe pokemon art concept, none of which can be handled easy on a current handheld device. It then goes on to say release 2016. It was announced somewhere that it wont be in the same series as XY ORAS. Then you look at the handheld presentation showing all the devices of old, possibly hinting at the new handheld. When XY was shown it was shown almost year before it was released BUT they had to make a small video to announce it after a giant leak of whatever it was, meaning they werent planning on announcing it anywhere near the timeframe of the leak... So its been since 2013 since Pokemon released a true game not a remaster and since ORAS we've only seen select pokemon in beautiful 3d model glory that is POKKEN.

Final Thoughts: Although the Pokemon Company is its own separate company and is not a first party game/Nintendo ip, they've worked hand in hand since the beginning of Pokemon and it feels like an first party game. Pokemon is the only game in the past 20 years that hasnt taken that HUGE leap in full 3d models. Again TWENTY YEARS.

Cod is rather cheap to make and the quality is terrible. They hardly deserve $10.
Even the most basic apu can handle video recording and it will not provide exploits. And it's developed by the second world worst company from the beginning.
Pokemon is first party, Game Freak is not.

people forget he was on charge at pokemon in USA when pokemon became huge in USA.
after fulfilling Iwata plans they will start nex big console and that will be totally under Kimishima guidance.
NX will be still like 50% Iwata and 50% kimishima.
I think in Nintendo the old guys want still to experiment, while the young guys want to return yamauchi era. The excat opposite one may think.

Kimishima might be the better ceo at this point. He might actually listen for once. I just hope Iwata's plan does not include giving up some core values and turn Nintendo into another EA.

They blame Nintendo for Mario being same game...
They ask more cod assassin creed and FIFA ...
Logic fail

At least mario add something new in each game (like 64's contribution to the entire industrial, paper mario's rpg mixed with controlling the character's movement and great puzzles, galaxy's complex gravity system and epic stages).
Cod just add more guns and more maps, assassin creed is barely playable and fifa just add new teams.
You cannot really blame them for not growing up with games from the golden age (I was actually born at the time of 64 but I grow up playing famicom)
